1981 C30 dually with 8’x12″ flat bed.
Fresh 350 with less than 10K miles on complete rebuild, Summit Racing heads, Edelbrock performer Q-jet intake, FiTech fuel injection conversion, headers, K&N air filter.
NV4500 overdrive five speed conversion.
Truck was being built to tow or carry cars and other heavy loads so I selected a transmission with the “Granny” first gear.
This setup gets almost 15 MPG at 70 MPH on the highway!
Also has all new tires, mostly new marker lamps, new tail lamp lenses, new windshield and seal.
New front bumper and right fender.
All glass is good.
In addition I have many more parts for it, door seals, front trim, and everything to rebuild the rear brakes.
Front brakes were done about 12K miles ago. The power brakes are a “Hydrovac” system.
What I do not have is the arm and shoulder strength to continue working on it.
All the hard work is done.
It does still have a couple of relatively minor issues, the dash pad and cluster surround are off as the speedometer stopped working, I am sure it is the electronic drive conversion unit.
It may be able to be reset, the manufacturer will repair it for a lot less than the $300 I paid for it.
I do have an excellent dash pad and new gauge surround.
Seat under the cover is as new.
This was to be my race car hauler, I put about $12,000 into it but it looks like I will never get to go racing at my age so I may as well sell it.
Clear NV title in my name.
I listed mileage as “10,000” as that is a little over what the engine has on it and the speedo has rolled over.
NOTE! Not for California sale, the engine upgrades will not pass “SMOG” inspection there!
