This is a 1968 GMC short box step side 1/2 ton pickup. Truck has undergone a beautiful restoration. It was a clean, solid Colorado truck. It is still on the original frame and retained its original bed. Bed rails were filled and smoothed and have domed metal ends. The tailgate has custom inner latches meaning no chains. The tailgate and tailgate jamb are smoothed and shaved. There is a pop open gas door on the driver’s side rear fender. The gas tank was moved from behind the seat to under the bed. The body on this truck is laser straight, including the inside of the bedsides and doorjambs. After being painted House of Color “True Blue” it was sprayed with a clear coat and sanded and polished to a mirror finish. It was finished off with a clean and subtle hand painted pinstripe. The grill is an “one off” custom. The interior finished to the same level as the exterior. The seat is a newer countered GMC truck seat that was cut down and lowered. It has the comfort of a newer style truck but looks old school. It has a polished aluminum steering wheel with a matching grip. The dash appears very stock except for a modern sound system and tilt steering column. Great running 350 small block with turbo hydramatic transmission, cold air conditioning, and power steering. It has HEI ignition, Edelbrock 4 bbl carburetor and intake manifold. Rebuild suspension, late model front disc brakes, and lowered with front drop spindles and rear shackles makes this a fun truck to drive. Great to take to car shows.
